I’ve had the opportunity to work on a lot of great projects over the years. Every project is unique and offers its own set of challenges. One of my favorite projects was a recent corporate remodel of Legal Shield’s home office in Ada, Oklahoma. This project was fairly extensive and touched on pretty much every capability Diesel Displays has to offer. We were challenged to create a more interesting tour experience for the thousands of associates and employees that tour the facility annually as well as update the overall look and feel of the headquarters.
Bringing Tech to the Legal Shield Remodel
The project included several interactive touchscreen displays that we not only designed and built but developed content software as well. These displays allow visitors to look up the achievements of fellow associates and employees along with videos, photos, and biographies. We also created several digital signage displays including a huge 18 screen video wall in the main lobby. In the lobby visitors and employees are greeted with a 6 video screen welcome column that displays local weather, latest achievements and company news.
Diesel Displays created custom content management software that multiple users can access to update the content in real time. One of the more fun elements we designed and built was a green screen selfie booth. Visitors can choose multiple backgrounds from the touch screen interface to be superimposed on through green screen technology we developed. The pictures are emailed to the user who can then share on any social media platform. The background images are updated throughout the year to keep the experience fresh and fun.
Along with the digital elements, we also designed and built several new millwork pieces and graphic installations. The millwork included new reception desks, a custom trophy case to display some of the companies historical pieces and a built-in shadow box display to highlight Legal Shields new ring program for achievements. The graphic installations included a banner system in the lobby complete with a motorized pulley system to update graphics easily, a pole banner system to great visitors along the drive to the main lobby, an employee photo wall, stretched canvas collage walls and several oversized light box graphics to brighten up hallways.
One of my favorite aspects of my job is getting to see the entire process of a project from conceptual renderings to physical builds. I was onsite during Legal Shield’s convention and got to see first hand the nearly 3000 visitors experience interacting with the displays which was very rewarding. If your company is looking to add an experience for visitors we would love the opportunity to discuss what we can do for you!
